How we treat

The right treatment starts with understanding the problem.

Your care is based on what Dr. Caldero finds during your examination, how your body responds, and what you need as you progress.

Chiropractic Care
The foundation of your care Back pain · Neck pain · Headaches · Joint pain · Stiffness · Limited mobility

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is a drug-free, non-surgical approach focused on the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system. The goal is to improve movement and function while addressing mechanical stress that may be contributing to pain, stiffness, and limited mobility.

Dr. Caldero uses hands-on chiropractic adjustments as well as instrument-assisted techniques depending on your condition, comfort level, and how your body responds to care. For patients who prefer a gentler, low-force approach, he may use the Activator® Method, ArthroStim®, or Percussor®, either alone or together with traditional hands-on adjustments.

You don’t have to be in pain to benefit from chiropractic care. Think of your body a little like your car — you don’t always wait for something to break before taking care of it. Sometimes the first signs are stiffness, tightness, reduced movement, or simply feeling more run-down than usual.

Don’t wait for pain to be your warning light.

Back On Trac® Spinal Decompression
Back pain · Sciatica · Pinched nerves · Leg pain · Bulging discs · Herniated discs

Back On Trac® Spinal Decompression

Back On Trac® provides gentle, non-surgical spinal decompression while you relax in a comfortable seated position. Unlike traditional decompression tables, there are no harnesses and no lying face-down.

Treatment gently stretches and mobilizes the lower back, creating a decompressive effect that may help reduce pressure on compressed discs and irritated nerves. This may help improve movement and relieve symptoms such as back pain, sciatica, and pain that travels into the legs.

For some patients, Dr. Caldero may recommend a series of decompression sessions rather than a single treatment. Repeated sessions are designed to gradually reduce compression and improve mobility, giving irritated discs and surrounding nerves an opportunity to experience less pressure over time.

Class IV Laser
Pain · Inflammation · Muscle & joint injuries · Nerve pain · Soft tissue

Class IV Laser

Our Class IV Laser delivers high-powered therapeutic light deep into muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues.

Unlike low-level or “cold” laser therapy, patients may feel a gentle, soothing warmth during treatment as the laser delivers therapeutic energy to larger and deeper treatment areas.

We especially use Class IV Laser Therapy during acute care, including after auto accidents and other injuries, when tissues may be painful, inflamed, or sensitive to touch. It may help reduce pain and inflammation, improve local circulation, and support the body’s natural tissue-recovery process.

Shockwave Therapy
Shoulder pain · Scar tissue · Muscle tightness · Foot pain · Chronic injuries

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy uses targeted acoustic waves to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. It may help with stubborn scar tissue, muscle tightness and chronic injuries by promoting circulation and supporting tissue recovery.

We commonly use Shockwave Therapy throughout the extremities — including the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands and fingers, hips, knees, ankles and feet — as well as stubborn areas of pain and tightness in the neck and back.

Commonly used for shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon problems and other persistent soft-tissue injuries.

Hako-Med® Horizontal Therapy
Neuropathy · Nerve pain · Sciatica · Burning · Tingling · Numbness

Hako-Med® Horizontal Therapy

German-engineered horizontal electrotherapy developed specifically for nerve pain management — the core of our neuropathy program.

Hako-Med uses specialized electromedical frequencies designed to work with the nervous system, and we use it for patients experiencing burning, tingling, numbness, and other nerve-related symptoms in the feet, legs, and hands.

PEMF — Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field
Acute injuries · Joint pain · Inflammation · Muscle & bone pain · Recovery

PEMF — Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field

Every day, our bodies deal with physical stress, lack of rest, repetitive activity, injuries, and chronic health challenges. Over time, it can feel as though your body’s “battery” is running low — especially when you’re already dealing with pain or trying to recover. Think of PEMF Therapy like giving your body’s “battery” some additional support.

Pulsed electromagnetic fields interact with the body’s tissues at a cellular level and may help provide pain relief, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and support recovery after surgery or injury. PEMF technology also has established medical applications in certain types of bone healing.

Because PEMF is non-invasive and requires no pressure or manipulation, we especially like using it for acute injuries when an area is sore, swollen, or sensitive — including foot pain after a fall or injury, as well as injuries involving the ribs, back, shoulders, muscles, joints, and bones. It may also be incorporated into recovery after auto accidents, sports injuries, and surgery.

Red & Near-Infrared Light Therapy
Circulation · Inflammation · Cellular energy · Neuropathy support

Red & Near-Infrared Light Therapy

Red and near-infrared light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light that are absorbed by the body’s tissues. This process, known as photobiomodulation (PBM), helps support cellular energy production, circulation, and the body’s natural recovery processes while helping manage pain and inflammation.

For patients with neuropathy, photobiomodulation may help improve local blood flow and oxygen delivery while supporting the cellular processes involved in nerve and tissue health. This makes it a valuable, non-invasive therapy for patients experiencing burning, tingling, numbness, sensitivity, or other nerve-related symptoms.

We incorporate this therapy into our neuropathy program for the feet and lower legs, but its benefits are not limited to neuropathy. Red & Near-Infrared Light Therapy may also be used on other areas of the body to help relieve pain, reduce inflammation, support tissue recovery, and complement rehabilitation following an injury or surgery.

Pelvic Floor Chair Therapy
Bladder leaks · Frequent urination · Postpartum · Prostate support · Intimate wellness

Pelvic Floor Chair Therapy

Pelvic Floor Chair Therapy uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to stimulate deep pelvic floor muscles that can be difficult to effectively contract on your own. During treatment, the electromagnetic energy causes repeated pelvic floor muscle contractions, helping strengthen and retrain the muscles that support the bladder, pelvic organs, and core.

A stronger pelvic floor may help improve bladder control, urinary urgency and leakage, pelvic weakness, and core stability. Pelvic floor strengthening can be beneficial for women after childbirth or during changes associated with aging and menopause, as well as for men experiencing pelvic floor weakness or bladder-control concerns.

Treatment is completely non-invasive — you remain fully clothed and simply sit comfortably in the chair during your session. There are no needles, internal probes, surgery, or anesthesia, and there is no required downtime. Because strengthening takes time, a series of sessions is typically recommended to progressively build and retrain the pelvic floor muscles.

Accident & Injury Care
Auto accidents · E-bike · Motorcycle · Pedestrian · Bus · Slip & fall

Accident & Injury Care

Whiplash, rib pain, neck and back pain, headaches, muscle tightness, joint pain, inflammation, and pain traveling into the arms or legs can occur after an accident. Some symptoms are immediate, while others may become noticeable days — or even weeks — later.

We often see patients weeks after an accident who tell us, “I felt fine at first, so I didn’t think I needed treatment.” Don’t ignore an accident simply because you don’t have significant pain right away. If you’ve been injured, consider being evaluated by an appropriate healthcare professional, such as your medical doctor, urgent care, or a chiropractor experienced in musculoskeletal injuries.

Dr. Caldero evaluates how the accident affected your movement and function and which areas need attention. Depending on your injuries, care may combine chiropractic treatment with Class IV Laser, Shockwave Therapy, PEMF, spinal decompression, and other therapies when appropriate. Your treatment is adjusted as your body recovers.
