After the accident, get checked — even if you “feel fine.”

Whiplash, rib pain, neck and back pain, headaches, muscle tightness, joint pain, inflammation, and pain traveling into the arms or legs can occur after an accident. Some symptoms are immediate, while others may become noticeable days — or even weeks — later.

We often see patients weeks after an accident who tell us, “I felt fine at first, so I didn’t think I needed treatment.” Don’t ignore an accident simply because you don’t have significant pain right away. If you’ve been injured, consider being evaluated by an appropriate healthcare professional, such as your medical doctor, urgent care, or a chiropractor experienced in musculoskeletal injuries.

We see this every day

  • Whiplash — neck pain and stiffness after a collision
  • Headaches, dizziness, and trouble sleeping after a crash
  • Rib, back and shoulder pain following an accident
  • Soreness that appeared days after the accident
  • Pain that didn’t improve with rest alone

How we treat it

Dr. Caldero evaluates how the accident affected your movement and function and which areas need attention. Depending on your injuries, care may combine chiropractic treatment with Class IV Laser, Shockwave Therapy, PEMF, spinal decompression, and other therapies when appropriate. Your treatment is adjusted as your body recovers.

Ways we can help with accident care: 1. MedPay · 2. Working with your attorney · 3. Billing the at-fault insurance · 4. Self-pay

FAQ

The accident wasn’t my fault. Who pays for treatment?

There are several ways accident care can be covered: MedPay on your auto policy, working with your attorney on a lien basis, billing the at-fault party’s insurance, or self-pay. Bring your claim information and attorney contact if you have one — Sandra will help you sort out the paperwork.

I feel okay after my crash. Should I still come in?

Yes. Whiplash symptoms commonly appear days or even weeks later, and an early exam creates the medical record your case may need. A short evaluation now beats discovering an untreated injury a month later.

Do you treat e-bike, motorcycle, pedestrian and slip-and-fall injuries too?

Yes. We care for injuries following auto, e-bike, motorcycle, pedestrian, bus, and slip-and-fall accidents, and document your care thoroughly. Call the office and Sandra will walk you through what your situation needs.
